The models of the Allison-engined Mustang fighters first appeared on the market manufactured by Accurate Miniatures and now they have been reboxed by Academy. While the model itself is rather nice with adequate surface detail, all of its interior areas leaves much to be desired. This also applies to the radiator/oil cooler area, and this is where our superbly detailed resin cast set improves the matter greatly. The set consists of a new bulkhead with the circular engine radiator with the oil cooler incorporated, new walls of air trunk, fluid pipes and a new air outlet flap.
