The Hetzer tank destroyer was equipped with a gun shield, or mantlet, called a ‘pig’s head’. This shield was modified during the production, its shape changed and was produced in several variants. Academy was not able to fully capture the shape of the shield in its Hetzer kit. Therefore, we prepared 3D printed shields of the correct shape. This set offers the so-called long type of shield.
